Conducts maintenance of the building, grounds and physical plant, cleanliness of guest rooms, public space, recreation and laundry. Responsible for maintaining standards and regulatory requirements. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience . High school diploma or GED 1 year experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing. OR . 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major no experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Supporting Engineering and Housekeeping Operations . May participate in developing project plans in accordance with renovation or new construction needs. . Assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance and asset protection plan. . Assists with managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems in accordance with brand Standard Operating Procedures. Maintaining Property Standards . Assists with managing and controling heat, light and power. . Assists with maintenance of property's life safety systems (e.g., fire fighting equipment, sprinkler systems, alarm systems). . May serve as a contact in regard to all hotel emergency procedures, equipment and alarms. Participating in team communications and achievement of departmental goals . Participates in on-going communication in areas of Engineering and Housekeeping. . May communicate critical information to Engineering and Housekeeping leadership teams. . Works towards achieving departmental goals to produce desired results. Providing Exceptional Customer Service . Strives to improve service performance . Sets positive example for coworkers by providing excellent customer service .
