When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we’d be pretty surprised if talabat didn’t pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we’ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.

Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less!

Role Summary

Responsible for maximizing provision of NFV vendors leads with delivery service and share with Sales team to consequently increase the acquisition rate

What’s On Your Plate?

  • Prospect for new clients / lead generation

  • Direct communication with customers via e‐mail and telephone to introduce and promote Talabat concepts and identify appropriate B2B buyers (partners) within the target market

  • Handle field incoming sales leads (incoming emails, calls, and potential client inquiries)

  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects and how talabat concept will speak to those needs

  • Identify areas in the market where the company is able to develop new business

  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel

  • Work with the Regional Head of Sales to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals

  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached

  • Prepare and analyze sales activity pipeline reports and dashboards as requested by Regional HOS

  • Record all sales activity in CRM

  • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time by the Line Manager

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities

What Did We Order?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any other related field

  • 1-3 years experience in sales field

  • Negotiation Skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Organizing skills

  • Fluent in both languages Arabic and English

  • Communication skills (Written and Verbal)

  • Excel Skills
