PETROLEUM ENGINEER

Position Title: Petroleum Engineer

Employment Type: 1 year contract

Salary: all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Client:

A leading oil and gas company in UAE

Job Description:

• Deliver required petroleum engineering tasks including but not limited to well-site testing and de-liquefaction methods application on mature gas condensate wells
• Weekly review of all the wells; production and development of PBU plans for the underperforming wells based on a comprehensive analysis of the wells’ performance. The performance to be summarized in a weekly email.
• Analyse and optimize the production of the wells, present explanation from a petroleum engineering point of view for the abnormal wells’ performance in the weekly production meeting.
• Update & maintain Prosper, GAP & MBAL & other models for system optimization and technical forecasts.
• Support production engineer to maintain an accurate database of production losses, both planned and unplanned. Ensure that Annual, Monthly, and weekly reports are developed, checked, and distributed to the organisation on a timely basis.

المهارات

Qualifications:

• Male; 55 y/o and below
• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Petroleum Engineer in an Oil/Gas industry preferably in gas condensate wells
• In-depth knowledge of extraction techniques, well inflow performance analysis, production allocation to wells, decline curve analysis, production forecasting, pressure transient analysis, and gas well performance analysis
• Technical skills in MS Office Suite, real live data, tracking system of production and inventory, and MS planning, PETEX Suite, Well testing software, and DSS
• Open to overseas candidates in GCC
