We currently offer an exciting career opportunity for Laundry Manager. Reporting directly to Executive Housekeeper, this challenging role has overall responsibility to oversee and direct the day to day operation of Laundry Department to ensure consistent supply of clean, neat and quality linens and uniforms. In addition, the successful candidate is will conduct interviews, supervise, train, schedule, counsel and evaluate laundry team. Ensure that laundry equipment and facility are in best operating condition and perform laundry functions in complete compliance with IHG guidelines and requirements.
Manage and control departmental financial processing. Conduct budgeting, purchasing, payroll, forecasting and inventory control. Handle concerns of guest and follow up on activities as required.
The ideal candidate has to show proven success full track in laundry managerial role within a hotel of the same size. Must be motivated, with drive for excellence and experience with managing a diverse laundry team. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Opera and fluent English language skills (written and spoken) are also required for the role. Other languages are preferred.
