Job Description

Summary
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2. Provides technical assistance in collecting samples/specimens, animal treatment, and euthanasia as needed under the supervision of the department's veterinarians.
3. Maintains detailed records on animals breeding, daily husbandry activities and facility environment in the animal rooms and support areas.
4. Observes animals on a daily basis to assess health, environmental conditions, and social environment.
5. Assists in cages decontamination, washing, sterilization and preparing clean/sterile microenviroment.
6. Follows all laboratory safety rules and regulations.
7. Assist in receives and verifies animals shipments against purchase orders.
8. Follows all Hospital related Policies and Procedures.
9. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education
