Associate Engineer – Electrical

Job Summary
AECOM are currently seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer, to join our design team based in Dubai. The successful candidate will work as part of an MEP and Architectural team supporting one of the regions most high profile rail projects. The Associate Engineer will oversee the Electrical Design for all stations within the project.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to lead the design team to enhance the Design Excellence through qualified project delivery.
- Manage design stage including coordination with project stakeholders and others external and internal parties to achieve project milestones targets up to construction documents and selection of contractors.
- Technical Report writing
- Establish Project schedules / controls
- Follow up and control deliverables
- Liaise with clients concerning progress through meetings and transmittals
- Conduct Management review meetings to update higher management.
- Manage & co-ordinate engineering activities, designers & CAD operators for specific projects.
Supervise subordinate personnel in preparing plans, specifications and preliminary construction layouts and cost estimates.
Minimum Requirements
15 – 20 years of related work experience on building projects, with at least the last five years in working on rail / stations.
Preferred Qualifications
- BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
