Structural Design Engineer

ESC is Seeking to hire full time Structural Design Engineers

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 3-8 years of relevant design experience partnered with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering – Structures or equivalent.

Skills

Deals with different design codes, Such as the ACI, BS, EC, AS, ASCE, AISC, UFC, IBC and UBC.

– Proficiency using a range of structural modelling and discipline-specific software including STAAD Pro, CSI Package (SAP200,ETABS,SAFE) , Midas Civil, SAP2000, RAM Concept, RAM Connection ,Idea Statica and Autodesk packages.

– Designs a complete project.

– Formulates and solves problems.

– Responds to main consultants and contractors’ comments.

– Checks all design/drawings aspects on a given project in full details

– Submits design/drawings to supervisor for final review (submittal should be with limited or error-free)

– Assigns tasks to and directs engineers and technicians.

– Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of the engineering work.

– Receives general direction on key objectives.

– Receives guidance when necessary on unconventional or complex problems, direction on modified techniques and new approaches on

assignments with conflicting criteria.

– Attends project-related technical and approval meetings.

– Interacts with clients for exchange of information.
