Main Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all accounting operations and transactions.
• Publish financial statements in time.
• Handle and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolves discrepancies.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Manage balance sheets and financial statements.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups frequently.
• During the auditing process, provide help to both internal and external auditors.
• Comply and adhere to accounting principles, financial policies, and regulations

Job requirements

• 3-4 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• BA. in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
• Hands-on experience using accounting computer programs like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas :
• VAT.
• Banking
• Jordanian tax and social security.
• Payroll.
• Assets.
• AR & AP.
• Insurance.
• Financial reporting.
• Financial analysis.
• A keen eye for detail and exceptional analytical skills.
• Excellent MS skills mainly in Excel
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Excellent English
