- Conducts all types of mechanical assembly and tubing work to produce a semi-finished or final products/systems/panels. Work is typically by using light hand tools
- The job includes understanding the hook up, P&ID and Bill of material for the given project and securing the material required for integration form stores.
- Preparing the layout for the sampling systems, tubing the components as per the P&ID drawings provided, should able to identify the different type of components
- Performing the installation of analyzers, headers, SCS cabinets, electrical panels, etc and carrying out interlinking tubing between equipment in the analyzer house
- Should be aware of using the tube benders, tube cutter, deburring tool, drilling, riveting and cutting tool in order to perform the job.
- Able to supervise the team of technicians and monitor the quality of workmanship and progress of the job
- Keep the stock of the issued materials at any point of time
- The job include regular quality testing including and not limited to leakage testing, functionality testing as part of a defined production process and able to troubleshoot.
- Should provide the mark up drawings for the as built systems to include the changes
- Conducts shop floor operation in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance
- Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area .
Your background
- Ideally, you'll hold a Diploma / Industrial training / specialized course, with the following requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in assembling the sample conditioning systems and analyzer house integration
- Good verbal communication skills in English Language
- Able to read and understand the drawings.
- Technical know how on analytical products and systems preferred.
