The Department of Architectural Engineering, College of Engineering, at the United Arab Emirates University invites applications for the position of Instructor. Candidates must hold a Master Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or similar field of study. Preferences will be given to qualified candidates with a strong background in Building Construction, expertise in Building digital fabrication and with a prior undergraduate teaching experience. Particular competencies include: Experience and skill with contemporary software tools appropriate to the specialization and building digital fabrication. The application package should include a cover letter, a detailed resume inclusive of courses taught. English is the language of instruction and communication. Screening of applications will continue until the position is filled.
Minimum Qualification
Candidates must have a professional undergraduate degree in architecture or architectural engineering a Master degree with a specialization in Building construction, digital and representation tools, building modelling and fabrication or a closely related area excellent communication skills and a commitment to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Preferred Qualification
Prior teaching and professional experience are highly advantageous as well as expertise in building modeling and digital fabrication tools.
