Main purpose of the role:

The Night Drilling Supervisor should provide high quality support for supervision of drilling and completion activities execution.

Key Accountabilities:

The Night Drilling Supervisor will supervise delicate & risky operations, drilling complications and well control operations at any time.
Duty cycle shall be 28 days on-duty and 28 days off-duty.
Operations tracking and look ahead updating, preparing detailed working plans, acts, NPT tracking.
Supervision of drilling process (sequence of operations, drilling parameters, ways of improving and optimization and etc.), casing running, cement job and LOT measuring and drifting casings, BOP pressure test, observing drilled formation on the SCE and etc.
Logistics department cooperation and collaboration. Coordinating equipment and service company tools mob/demob to/from the field.
Well Operation planning and optimizing – Well construction program preparation and reviewing, Time vs. Depth Preparation and reviewing.
Monitors and analyses the work progress during drilling, well completions and work overs. Shall take necessary instructions, advice and measures to be taken from Day Drilling Supervisor or Drilling Superintendent to resolve problems and avoid delays in work schedule and to ensure that the requirements and the well objectives are achieved.
Monitors well execution and delivery performance against agreed KPIs and business plan. Provides analysis and understanding of differences, and makes recommendation to address them.
Supervises the moving of rigs schedule on and off well locations. Includes liaising with contractor to ensure maximum safety and accurate positioning of rig on new location.
Prepares Final Well Reports and ensure AAR (After Action Review) are completed for each well.
Prepares studies and reviews which will assist in solving current operational problems, improves current operational procedures and delivers excellence in performance delivery.
Participates in designing and/or confirming designs and specifications of drilling and associated equipment.

Skills & Experience:

Degree in Engineering with experience in Drilling industry, out of which few years as an offshore night Drilling Supervisor / drilling supervisor.
Offshore jack-up drilling experience with in depth knowledge of offshore drilling and associated works.
Experience in high pressure / high temperature deep wells with heavy mud weights and high H2S concentrations.
A current certificate in Blowout Prevention (BOP) and well control (IADC).
Must have completed the H2S, Offshore survival (HUET), Firefighting and First Aid courses.
