Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer to join our REI – Environmental Consultancy team in Al Khobar, KSA.

Key Responsibilities:

Creates designs for a diverse array of projects such as web, advertisements, signage, etc. adhering to Wood's brand guidelines.
Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for executive presentation using company logos, color codes templates and websites
Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
Effectively researches and completes all projects
Has knowledge and usage experience of design elements, color, ad composition
Follow account manager’s and/or client's art direction
Communicates clearly with clients about design elements and projects
Keeps account manager informed on all project designs and timelines
Understands and follows company standards when preparing vendor files
Works well in a team environment
Manages a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment
Makes decisions within broad parameters
Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience

Skills / Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with main design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Understanding of Engineering, Consultancy and Enivronmental Services is preferable
Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations.
