JOB REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience as event coordinator or similar role
Portfolio of successful events
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management and organizational skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Public Relations is preferred.
Profile Description
Events Coordinator must gain a complete understanding of the requirements for each event
Manage all event set-up, tear down and follow-up processes
Events Coordinator should plan and organize events in accordance with financial and time restraints
Handle, coordinate and oversee all event operations
Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
Events Coordinator must maintain event budgets
Events Coordinator should conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the standards
Remain calm during crisis and the high pressure of an event in progress
Offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner
Events Coordinator should analyse and evaluate event's results, create and present reports
Stay focused and organized so that the event goes off without a hitch
Prepare post-event reports
