KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Under the direct supervision of Business Support Assistant and overall supervision by the Head of Admin/Finance/HR in Myitkyinar Field Office the incumbent will perform the following duties;
• Perform cleaning, functions as required, including washing, sweeping, dusting, vacuum-cleaning and polishing; and also cleaning office compounds;
• Maintain garden and lawns;
• Perform basic maintenance of outdoor/indoor environments, to keep them clean, well-organized and in a good condition.
• Provide support in loading/offloading and moving office equipment, furniture, baggage and other items for efficient site maintenance services.
• Serve beverages and maintains kitchen equipment and area; arrange for basic refurbishment and maintenance of kitchen area and equipment to facilitate efficient service.
• Maintain and clean all cleaning equipment utilized;
• Keep office rooms, including kitchens and toilets to ensure clean, hygienic and well-organized working environment.
• Operate and maintain photocopier, scanner and other office equipment and supplies;
• Provide laundry services including basic maintenance of related equipment, to ensure that WFP office and guesthouse items are clean.
• Perform any other appropriate duties as requested by the supervisor.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
Experience
At least one or more years of experience in general administrative work.
Knowledge and skills
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners.
- Ability to follow standard business support processes and procedures.
- Ability to provide information using courtesy and tact.
- Good attention to details.
Language
Good in both oral and written communication.
