Job Description :
Role: As aqualified accountant who thrives when working in a busy collaborative team and who can balance multiple competing assignments the role is to manage all financial aspects and work closely with the CEO, Saudi Arabia, and Country Director to deliver in accordance with the client's financial standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Execution of Group finance policies and monthly control procedures
  • Preparation of monthly P&L and Cash Flow Group reporting submissions
  • Provide insight into the financial performance of the business
  • Ownership of timesheet reporting for the KSA team
  • Prepare job profitability reports for the KSA CEO, along with variance analysis and commentary
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget
  • Support the preparation of the company financial statements
  • Prepare and submit Zakat Returns
  • Liaising with our local professional advisors in KSA
  • Involvement in resolving technical queries both from an accounting and tax perspective
  • Help ensure tax compliance across the group
  • Support the bid process and other activities by providing financial information as required
  • Undertake process improvement activities
  • Proactively undertake ad-hoc duties as they arise to support the business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • A qualified accountant, preferably with relevant PQE
  • Experience in preparing financial statements
  • Past delivery of process improvement
  • Knowledge of VAT and corporation tax would be beneficial
  • Fluency in written and spoken English language
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good understanding of collaboration and associated behaviours
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Relevant accountancy qualification (equivalent to ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
