Industrial Company in Amman – Jordan is looking for IT Help Desk- Technical Support, as follows:
-Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
-Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
-Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components.
-Responding in a timely manner to helpdesk service issues and requests as per ITIL standards.
-Set up domain and email accounts for new users.
-Aid user issues via phone, email and Teams chat and perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and -pertinent questions
-Conduct daily backup operations and maintain & update technical -documentation regularly.
-Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
-Setup of Bio Metric Access and monitoring.
-Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
-Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
-Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.
-Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
-Be the expert and first point of contact for a certain product and area of IT, such as cloud products, business systems, networks, or infrastructure.
-Proactive attitude, ability to accept the mission and execute it independently, a strong sense of ownership.
-Work with the business department to coordinate important system maintenance, changes, and IT requirements from the business side.
Skills / Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
-Minimum 3+ year of related professional experience.
-Certified in ITIL Foundation, CCNA
-Working Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (On-premises and cloud) and Azure Active Directory, good understanding of computer operating systems (Windows), (IOS and Android) mobile devices, Office 365 Apps, troubleshooting design applications and other tech products Basic configurations of Switch, Router and Firewall with strong concept knowledge.
-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proven work experience as an IT Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or similar role
-Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
-Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
-Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
-A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
-Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Network security experience.
-LAN and WAN experience.
-Dependable and flexible when necessary.
