Job Description

Summary
Responsible to lead higher-level database management tasks including troubleshooting and configuration. This will result in secure, well-functioning databases that will provide users with the data needed to make good decisions.Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2.Oversees planning, installation, configuration, and testing of database configurations.
3.Leads in identifying server, network, and capacity requirements needed to operate databases.
4.Defines and implement required database maintenance procedures.
5.Oversees troubleshooting and technical support services for databases including Level 3 support on issues escalated from Informatics Systems Operations.
6.Leads the implementation of new database solutions.
7.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
8.Participates in self & others education, training and development, as applicable.
9.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
10.Performs other related duties as assigned.Education
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.Experience Required
Five (5) years of related experience with Master's Degree, or seven (7) years of related experience with Bachelor's Degree is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)
