Community Engagement Coordinator

Job Summary

This role is responsible for engaging with international and national Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) to build mutually beneficial partnerships, advocating the organization’s strategies to accelerate the implementation of the foundation’s goals and improve the awareness and understanding of the foundation & its initiatives in governates.

Responsibilities

• Strategically identify and develop key NGO relationships that support the advocacy of strategies that accelerate.
• In consultation with the Outreach Senior Manager, contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic plan to improve engagement with communities, through key international and local NGOs partnerships.
• Propose an event/activity calendar in cooperation with the foundation’s initiatives to serve the local locations’ needs and requirements.
• Report periodically to the Community Outreach management team on activities, mobilization efforts, meetings and local youth needs.
• Coordinate with the M&E team through providing required data, documentation, accomplishments and success stories.
• Represent the foundation at local events at the governates.

Requirements

• BSc. In Business Administration, Social Studies, or a relevant field
• 4-6 experience in civic engagement, social development, or youth work in community-based organizations, not-for-profits, international NGOs, or any relevant institution.
• Experience in youth development is preferred
