Our Client
One of our prestigious partner based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia is looking for hire a Project Planner for a 6 months extendable contract.
Your Responsibilities
- Work with Project Managers to ensure they produce the required schedule in accordance with requirements.
- Review and monitor the overall project program/schedule and highlight areas on the critical path where progress is deficient.
- Visit the site regularly and review works in respect of a look ahead schedule and report deficiencies to management.
- Develop and produce the reports based upon collected information from projects and with reference.
- Review, give comments and approves all the submitted planning documents and time schedules.
- Management software, CPM, logic relations, bar charts, schedules, work breakdown structure, coding, resources and productions rates, cost and cash flow.
- Conduct what-if analysis on program standpoint and report to Program manager & Sr. Construction manager.
- Draw plans and presenting schedules of work, often with visual aids such as bar charts and procedures diagrams.
- Review logistics plans and pricing schedules for the project.
- Monitor contractor's progress according to the approved time program and its updated versions and advice the contractor in case of any delays.
- Check contractor's resources on site and compares these with weekly reports by contractor & the requirements of the submitted program, and advice to the contractor in case of any deficiency.
- Assist in the review of any design changes in terms of its time impact, and report to the program manager / project manager and Sr. construction Manager.
- Assist in the development of various package contracts work-in-place diagrams and respective cash flow projections.
- Determine causes of delay – if any – and advises PMs on suggested remedial measures.
- Review contractor's correspondence on extension of time claim and prepares the replies.
- Involved in the determination for EOT if any.
- Review prepared the program and progress section in the monthly progress report by the contractor. Also generates project status report.
- Participate in the progress meeting and other meetings related to revisions of program and claim analysis.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Provide wide operational support to T&D as required.
Your Qualifications
- With minimum 5+ years relevant experience in construction management on mega infrastructure/building/architectural project
- Experience in the building industry or similar industry and has project control experience on large to mega projects.
- Must have thorough knowledge of project control/business practices, calculation method/software, standard and procedures.
- Monitor risks on projects and log them in the risk register and escalate as required.
- The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
- Experience in reviewing and monitor project schedule and cost to ensure schedule and budget objectives are met.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Must have Primavera -6 experience Qualifications.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSCE).
- With a valid engineering license.
- Certified project management professional (PMP) or any other equivalent.
- Certified Risk manager professional.
