Job Description

Our client, a multinational, training institute for cybersecurity Information security is currently looking for a Head of Sales and Business Development who will be based in their Qatar office. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for growing the client portfolio of the company's operation in Qatar. You will also be responsible for developing existing client relationships in addition to identifying and pursuing new client opportunities from prospect to partner and to fully represent and build the company brand in accordance with the company brand values and mission statement.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
.support the retention of existing business at re-tender times and to pursue leads
.expand existing business.
.work with and support large accounts.
.actively promote the sale of additional soft services, drawing on the Soft Service support as required.
.support mobilization of new business with agreed handover to Operations.
.represent and accept responsibility for a company decision made by others.
.actively target and build prospect client relationships in your geographic area.
.maintain and develop close client relationship of new contracts.
.develop and actively engage in client relationship building.
.Identify and target influential people inside the client, customer and third-party organization and builds relationships with them.
.share knowledge, experience and expertise with key clients, customer and third parties.
.work closely with Managing Director to effectively target prospects using a regional team approach.
.maintain effective relationships with sales research and sales colleagues within the company.
.utilize and develop targeting strategies within Qatar and other countries under your responsibilities
.work in conjunction with the Managing Director to construct winning bids which meet the needs of the client.
.target and develop a network of influential internal and external contacts.
.represent the company in functions/events/conferences
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
.Fluency in English – Arabic is a plus.
.Educated to degree level or equivalent.
.Proven experience in a field-based Business Development/Sales
role ideally working within Government, Military or Commercial Sectors.
.Knowledgeable about Cyber Security sector
.Ability and desire to travel.
.Proven track record of delivering against targets within a field sales role.
.Decisive and forward thinking, with strong vision and strategic capability.
.currently based in Qatar
.With valid Qatari driving license
