Job Purpose:
A foreman is an individual who has knowledge and experience in general gardening work, with the ability to supervise the staff members in performing garden maintenance and landscaping project-related work..
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Supervisor in leading the staff members in performing general gardening work;
- Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure the work is completed on time and as per instruction;
- Carry-out ad-hoc/other duties to be assigned by the Supervisor/Head as needed;
- Ensuring a safe working environment for everyone working at the site;
- Strictly adhering to company rules and regulations;
- Maintaining good relationship with team mates and superiors
Qualifications Required:
- With a Diploma of any Agriculture-related course;
- With minimum 2 years experience in landscape gardening work;
- Familiar with tropical plants and various plants used in Middle East;
- Knows how to use basic manual and powered tools and equipment for gardening;
- Preferably with experience in handling / supervising laborers / gardeners;
- Must be comfortable in receiving and giving directions to act as liaison between supervisor/management and staff /laborers;
- Team leader; willing to learn new skills; hard-working, respectful, honest, and diligent at work;
- Physically fit to do garden work for long hours;
- Must be below 30 years old; Gender: Male
- Must have a Driver's License;
- Can communicate (speak and write) using Basic English Language
