MEDICAL ELIGIBILITY ANALYST

Job Description

Summary
Assists patients and staff with medical eligibility problems and issues coordinates with other departments as necessaryEssential Responsibilities and Duties
2. Analyzes documents to determine patients/employeeseligibility.
3. Receives and processes persons/patients with referralletters.
4. Reviews and forwards relevant information regardingdischarged patients and eligible specialties to appropriate departments.
5. Perform clinical responsibilities within relatedspecialty such as (Nursing, Laboratory, Respiratory, Pharmacy, etc.) asassigned.Education
Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree/Diploma in
Nursing is required.Experience Required
One (1) year of related experience with
Bachelor's Degree
, or three (3) years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse is required.
