Business Development Director

Contribution to the Business:

  • Get involved in customer activities, attend sales visits as well as Developing and maintaining internal and external networks with various partners such as regulators and client senior management.
  • Working closely with DHL Express team on multiple types of deliverables with senior oversight on Business development, options analysis, payment structures and senior management presentations.
  • Undertaking negotiations with clients on business related matters.
  • Involvement in business development initiatives, including support to the Country Manager and Sales in identification of new opportunities, proposals and initiate improvements.
  • Leading internal deal management requirements such as responsibility for all risk and compliance checks on clients and securing all internal approvals.
  • Present the Senior Management team in the Central province and Identify any gaps and initiate and develop the right strategies to fix them.
  • Responsible to Sign a minimum one mega deal per quarter while maintaining an Expected revenue growth not less than 15% per annum.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor degree in Business. MBA is a plus.
  • Well-developed relationship skills and ability to network with all levels of an organization and business units.
  • An ambitious and commercial minded approach towards execution.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Strong MS Office capabilities across PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Exposure to team-based work in a high-intensity environment ability to work independently.
  • Desire to succeed in a fast paced, creative, and ambitious environment and to continuously learn and develop business skills.
  • Knowledge, and strong Relations with all ministries and government entities.
  • Intellectual curiosity with an appetite to learn new skills and markets.
  • Ability to grasp complex commercial issues quickly.
  • Excellent client-facing interpersonal skills and history of significant client exposure.
  • High ambition coupled with the ability to deliver and to work optimally in teams.
  • Passion for participating in marketing and business development.
