The Materials Manager plays a pivotal role in developing, coordinating, and leading the planning and inventory structure to develop and maintain integrated plans for all activities and projects within the Services Operation and Inventory
As a Region Materials Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with other managers to determine supply needs and complete forecasting
  • working with global process and buyers to order materials according to specifications
  • Coordinating and supervise receiving and warehousing procedures
  • Controlling inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies and Oversee distribution of supplies in the organization
  • Negotiating with suppliers and maintain relationships
  • Keeping detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc, assist in forecasting to plan future orders

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's Degree in logistics or related field or equivalent experience (8+ years experience).
  • Have experience in supply chain and inventory control.
  • Have experience of SAP
  • Have excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Understand forecasting and budgeting
  • Have strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
  • Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems
  • Be proficient in MS Office
  • Have excellent organizational and leadership skills and A problem-solve
