As a Materials Leader, surface pressure control you will be managing activities of personnel engaged in distributing of materials and supplies in an organization personally or through subordinate supervisors.
As a Materials Leader, surface pressure control, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing all planning, inventory control, material handling, logistics, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Supervising the activities of employees relating to the ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, issuing, and shipping of materials, supplies, tools, and parts.
- Coaching and Leading Supervisors, team leads, and members to ensure organizational goals and objectives are met.
- Monitoring and reporting Purchase Price Variances, Past Due POs, average conversion rate req to PO.& Assisting in regularly audits.
- Managing logistics costs and accountable for logistics support for all equipment movements, including SPC equipment, CP, workshop tooling, etc. (Permanent and temporary imports, exports, local and national movements).
- conducting interviews and trainings for employees planning, assigning, and directing work appraising performance addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5+years of experience in a smilair role
- Have an ability to solve practical problems with solutions that deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of Ariba & Oracle.This includes supply, demand, and exceptions using a bucket-less system
- Have an understanding of finance and contracts
- Have negotiation skills to contract the best prices for the items
