You will be managing the maintenance team and has direct responsibility for all engineering and maintenance activities as required to meet local regulatory requirements, production demand, and customers expectations. You will be championing facility PM program, monitoring, and coordinating all activities associated with facility and equipment maintenance to maintain reliability, ensure maximum uptime, and minimize impact to production
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for facility, equipment (machinery & fixed equipment) tasks. Utilities, Air dryers, Cooling towers, reactors, blenders, Mag pumps heat exchangers etc
  • Coordinate and perform duties related to all maintenance such as servicing, repair of facilities equipment including machinery & Metals maintenance task and isolations
  • Monitor the serviceability of plant equipment, electrical, instrumentation and facilities and ensure they adhere to safety, housekeeping, and environmental requirements.
  • Maintain facility equipment in working condition, troubleshoot and diagnose faulty equipment to determine root cause of equipment failure, take remedial action and make reliability improvements.
  • Managing maintenance team and has direct responsibility for all maintenance activities as required to meet local regulatory requirements, production demand, and customers expectations.
  • Co-ordinate and supervise contract maintenance work.
  • Lead and project manage facility and equipment upgrades and responsible for supervision of construction activities
  • Manage contractors at site by issuing safety work permit, Maintain accurate documentation of master equipment and equipment history database.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical & electronic single line diagrams and piping & instrumentation diagrams
  • Participate in safety, cost, quality improvement activities related to facility and equipment maintenance
  • Travel to vendor to provide inspection, training or troubleshoot issues as required
  • Participate and involve Incident Investigation, Non-conformance, Corrective Actions and Reporting
  • Responsible for the maintenance and facility and equipment inventory management
  • BOM and critical spares for maintenance

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Minimum requirement with bachelor's degree in mechanical/Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering,
  • Minimum 15 years of practical experience in relevant field
  • Strong working knowledge and hands on experience with rotating and static equipment
  • Good collaboration skills, ability to work in groups and supervise the team
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills,
  • Able to work off-hours and weekends, as needed
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
  • SAP or Maximo, Basic Microsoft Office Skills – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
