Position Summary
Working as the Talent Acquisition Specialist at Nestl, you will partner with key decision-makers across the MENA region to develop and execute talent attraction and selection strategies to hire high caliber talent who have the potential thrive within our organization.You will manage the full recruitment life-cycle from the initial role briefing, to interviews and through to the assessment and offer.
A day in the life of…

  • When you get in the office, the first order of business is to check up on all the positions on the Applicant Tracking System to filter through the candidates that fit the job profile, which is a key part of your job. You might be working on 15-20 jobs at a time, which makes this screening process varied and dynamic. We're looking for someone who can find the star CV amongst the hundreds of applicants who meet the criteria of the hiring manager
  • You then spend a good portion of your morning meeting with and updating the hiring managers on their vacancies, and conducting face to face interviews to partner with them strongly through the recruitment process. You will use Competency Based Interview questions to conduct the interviews, and also guide the hiring managers on the best questions to ask based on the competency framework for the role
  • After lunch, it's time to start phone screening your candidates. During the screening you will gather all insights to assess whether they fit the role, and the successful ones make it to your shortlist which you share with the hiring manager. For some hard to fill positions in remote areas, you will also partner with the regional sourcing team to ensure delivery of key talents.
  • At the end of the day, you will manage candidates who have gone through the recruitment process to provide feedback and ensuring a positive candidate experience even for those that are not selected. When a candidate is selected, you will partner with the hiring manager and HR Business Partner to create an attractive offer and seal the deal!

What will make you successful

  • You have strong communication skills in English to be able to work in a matric organisation with multiple stakeholders
  • You have demonstrable experience identifying and using talent attraction tools to attract candidates all different functions
  • You will have successfully coached managers on interviewing and influenced stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  • You will have worked on an Applicant tracking system, as well as other social platforms such as LinkedIn for recruiting purposes
  • You will have good understanding of a large, global business such as Nestl with strong business acumen
  • Lastly, you will be enthusiastic and passionate about talent acquisition, and delivering the best candidate experience
