Company
Being established in 1977, the company owns and operates farms for domestic birds.
They are currently looking for an IT Specialist to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Plan and implement new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
Qualification & Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science/ B.Sc. in Business Information System/ B.Sc. in Computer Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in the same role
- Relevant Certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields
- Experience in networking domain protocols and business applications and general knowledge in servers Hardware and Software, scripting and automation tools
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft office
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
