Job Description :

Responsible for the delivery of cost-effective, low-risk, through-life design solutions compliant with customers requirements, capable of onward implementation and support by the Company in accordance with established contractual obligations and Company procedures.
Responsible for the design assurance of local site AC and DC power supply and distribution systems.
Responsible for the design assurance of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Responsible for the design assurance of fixed and mobile generator systems.
Responsible for the design assurance of Automatic and Manual Transfer Switch (ATS/MTS) systems.
Responsible the design assurance of Uninterruptible Power Supply systems (UPS) systems
Responsible for the review and update of all the power and HVAC specification documents i.e. associated company's Network Design Requirements (NDR).
Provide test assurance for power and HVAC project installations (witness/assure sub-contractor testing).
To work closely with other business functions as appropriate according to status of the project (New Business, Projects or Managed Services).
Define and review subcontractor proposals for design, installation, testing commissioning and acceptance testing for HVAC and Power.
To technically review designs produced by sub-contractors and verify completeness to local and international technical standards.
Ensure all design documentation is and complete for Test Acceptance and Technical Transfer.
Provide engineering support for existing systems.
Supervise sub-contractor works as appropriate.
Maintain position as subject matter expert for the Company.
Work within the engineering team to review, assure and support sub-contractor deliveries of cost effective, robust power and HVAC system designs.
Work with the new business team to support new technical proposals
Work with sub-contractors to define and specify power systems and HVAC designs
Assist the operations team where required in KSA to diagnose power and HVAC issues.
Assure/advise the sub-contractors production of quality design documentation in line with company's standards.
Support the implementation team to deliver and implement power systems and HVAC designs.
Involved in the preparation of reports, designs, specifications and contract documents
Monitor emerging legislation and engineering standards relating to electrical building services and ensure their adoption and implementation.
Identify and meet effectively the requirements and expectations of clients
Be able to logically analyse problems from a basic engineering perspective to determine problem resolutions and solutions.
Relevant Bsc/MSc engineering/technical qualification in a Power systems/HVAC/Building services discipline.
Proven track record in similar role, working to tight timescales.
Good standard of written and spoken English.
Report writing skills, experience of making presentations and attending meetings with clients essential.
Experience of working to quality assurance procedures.
Design and Build experience.
Ability to build up and maintain client and team relationships.
Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way.
