Job Description
Summary
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2. Chceksand proofreads translated documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and appropriateness or translation performed by individual translators and trainees.
3. Utilizes standardized translation of medical, administrative, and technical terminology in current usage at the Hospital.
4. Practices checking of translated work as part of the learning process to improve his/her performance.
5. Participates in the training process of new translators and SCDPs.
6. Ensures correct and consistent medical terminology is used throughout Hospital documents.
7. Contributes to standardization of Hospital vocabulary, job titles, and administrative terminology in current usage at the Hospital.
8. Assists the Translation Manager in the selection of new translators.
9. Acts as Translation Section Manager, as assigned.
10. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
11. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.Education
Experience Required
Three (3) years of translation experience, or successful completion of two (2) years SCDP program required.
Grade 10:
Five (5) years of translation experience required.Other Requirements(Certificates)
-Excellent comprehension and ability to use both Arabic/English in written and spoken forms required. -Saudi National preferred.
