SENIOR PROTOCOL COORDINATOR

Job Description

Summary
Responsible for coordinating and performing a variety offunctions efficiently to facilitate hospital's medical care services providedto members of the Royal Family and Protocol/VIP patients including: reception & escort services, managing appointments,facilitating admissions and dischargesplus acting as a liaison with the Revenue Department Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2.Meets Protocol patients and accompanies them to thedesignated clinics or rooms as assigned and provides assistance asnecessary.
3.Responsible for ensuring strict patient confidentialityregarding patient names, treating physicians and all matters related to theirtreatment and condition.
4. Coordinates and communicates arrangements for Protocolpatients, for scheduled and/or unscheduled visits.
5.Familiarizes himself/herself with hospital organizationalstructure, the names and positions of its principal office holders, ProtocolAffairs operations, operational relationships with other departments, names ofhospital physicians, their specialties and departments, their monthly leavesand clinic schedules.
6.Takes the necessary action to ensure that sufficientsupport services are available, such as clerks, Environmental services(Housekeeping), PCAsetc., and to make the necessary communication for anyextra needs or deficiencies in the Hospital.
7.Responsible for conducting periodic rounds of D2 and D4 Wards to ensure optimum servicesare delivered to inpatients and any complaints/queries are responded to as perthe Protocol policies and proceduresEducation
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in BusinessAdministration, Health Care Administration, or other relateddiscipline is required.Experience Required
Seven (5) years of relatedexperience with Master's, or nine (7) years with Bachelor's Degree is requiredOther Requirements(Certificates)
