Job Description :

  • Having 3-4yrs experience of NOC Monitoring.
  • Monitor the End-to-End Network & Systems infrastructure along with IT Applications.
  • Familiar with Micro focus Monitoring Tools – SCOM, NNMi, APM, SiteScope, OBM.
  • Responsible to monitor infrastructure alarms. 24x7x365.
  • Proactively take the initiative of optimizing the infrastructure Alarms by suppressing irrelevant alarms as well as adding context to infrastructure Alarms by working closely with IT Systems Operation team that manages the Monitoring tool.
  • Responsible for the Fault Management process.
  • Receive and register issues proactively identified through monitoring, received from various teams, Other departments, business Units within the organization.
  • Follow defined standard operating procedures and documenting known fault types in a Knowledge base.
  • Perform 1st level support activities on all Infrastructure, IT systems and provide 24/7 service delivery of end-to-end fault management process.
  • Perform remediation activities (as required) as per 1st level support guidelines.
  • All Key processes covered by Level 1 are fault & incident management (1st line support), performance monitoring, capacity monitoring, availability monitoring, change control, Reporting and SLA Management.
  • Recommend Level 2 / SMEs or other Entities to enhance the monitoring tools to gain better visibility on the operations.
