MEP Commissioning Manager
Job Description
The opportunity
Project: A major mixed-use development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of all MEP commissioning activities on the project/projects.
- Performing risk and value management and cost control functions.
- Reviewing the overall status of the MEP works reporting on the progress of all MEP aspects of the project to the project director
- Ensuring successful completion of these activities against the programme.
- Management of the specialist subcontractors.
- Reporting and meeting attendance, where you are computer literate.
- Dealing with the client and its representative in a professional and positive manner and representing the company in a best practice setting.
- Reviewing concise commissioning method statements.
- Being witnessed on-site testing and reporting on findings.
- Reviewing and commenting on the quality of M&E/MEP installation during the installation phase.
- Interfacing with utility companies.
- Managing water treatment.
- Reviewing and commenting on the design of services in association with the specific discipline.
- Maintaining positive relationships with other staff and professional team members, along with your line manager.
- Managing the trade contractors obligations to commission and manage the delivery of the specific services, in association with our scope of work.
- Coordinating, integrating, and managing commission/testing.
About you
You will have a relevant degree qualification and CIBSE or equivalent and be a member of a professional body. You have experience as an MEP Manager with a specialism in commission and systems integration. You have worked on the delivery of sports stadiums/arenas.
You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike. You have previous working experience on construction projects and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
