Location: KSA (this role requires extensive travel within KSA)

Substation Automation System (SAS) Engineers with following responsibility:-

- Technical Contribution: Assists customers at every stage of automation system start-up, commissioning of equipment & configuration, planned maintenance, monitoring performance, diagnosing system problems remotely as well as responding to customer emergencies when necessary. Provides technical support for installation, execution testing and commissioning activities. Prepare documentation within one's scope of deliverables. (Drawings, test plans, config files).
- The SAS Engineer will be responsible for commissioning transmission and distribution substations, new construction, extensions, retrofits & modifications ensuring all are installed, functional and energized correctly. You will be responsible for the coordination of all apparatus and A&C testing activities, functional test activities, documentation of as-lefts/as-builts, substation prints, settings, and functional test plans. You will be responsible for the validation of customer system delivery to ensure no errors are incurred or introduced in the design package or installation of the solution offered by Hitachi ABB Power Grids. The individual must be able to read engineering drawings and specifications to understand the purpose of the solution proposed.
