Project Manager Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to manage our B2C projects. We prefer someone from a logistics background with a broad understanding of how to manage B2C projects.

Responsibilities

Planning the project according to the budget allotted

Managing the team to ensure smooth flow operations of the project

Communicating with third parties/vendors for resources (manpower & machinery)

Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget

Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility

Allocating the right resources and ensuring delivery on time

Develop a detailed project plan to track the progress

Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs

Control cost for the assigned project

Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques

Report and escalate to management as needed

Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Prepare a P&L account to calculate the total cost

Requirements and skills

Relevant educational background, preferably in the fields of engineering for technical project managers

Proven working experience as a project manager

Solid logistics background, with understanding or hands-on experience in B2C projects

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

PMP / certification is a plus
