Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide personalized coordinated care and support for patients and family.
- Treat people with dignity, compassion and respect.
- Measure and mix ingredients to make bread, rolls, pies, pizza and cakes.
- Weigh materials in order to ensure appropriate quantity.
- Cut, mold and weigh material to ensure appropriate and equal parts that each batch has correct quantities and uniform appearance.
- Place pans in oven and set oven temperature.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and the oven temperatures is in accordance to the infection control standard point.
- Spread sprinkles and other decoration on baked goods.
- Ensures appropriate storage of baking utensils and supplies.
- Make sure that baking equipment is cleaned and maintain properly.
- Oversee cleanliness and sanitation of working area and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Hospitality Degree or equivalent.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :
- 6 years relevant experience in hotels or 5 Star Restaurant.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS :
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral some knowledge of
Basic Arabic an asset.
COMPETENCE:
- Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations
- Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.
REQUIRED ATTITUDE TO PERFORM THE JOB:
- Proper, effective and compassionate communication.
- The ability to communicate with and gain the trust of people from a range of backgrounds.
- Flexibility to deal with a variety of circumstances that need immediate action.
