الوصف الوظيفي
Job purpose:
· To complete estimation of projects with precise quantity take-offs
· To send inquiries and negotiate with suppliers/sub contractors, to get the best quality and the best rate possible for required material/service.
- · Pre and post tender responsibility for projects
Job Accountabilities:
· Understand the project deliverables and requirements within pre-determined timeframes
· Gather first-hand information from the Client, Consultant/Designers, and Site Conditions. Digest any RFP and perform risk analysis.
· To do quantity take-off from drawings either on AutoCAD or any estimator software
· To complete detailed Bill of Quantities and Pricing using BI standard format.
· To send inquiries to suppliers/sub-contractors/sun consultants/specialists based on the materials and services required for the said project.
· To ensure that correct details are sent in the inquiries and on receipt of the quotation, check the validity, payment terms, delivery program, and T&C/qualifications offered by the supplier/sub-contractor.
· To conduct negotiations with the suppliers/sub-contractors to agree on more favorable terms for the company both pre and post-tender.
المهارات
Qualifications:
· Civil Engineering Degree or relevant discipline
· Additional qualifications in Quantity Surveying will be advantageous.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years experience in UAE interior fit-out industry.
· Ability to handle multiple jobs at one time.
· Ability to complete quantity take-off in an efficient manner.
· Good negotiation skills in order to develop good deals with suppliers.
· Good communication and correspondence skills in English.
- · Experience with contracts would be advantageous.
