ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, MEDICAL ELIGIBILITY

Job Description

Summary
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2. Participates in department activities and adheres to hospital related policies and procedures and implementation.
3. Communicates and coordinates with management and departments on all inquiries concerning work in Medical Eligibility and Patient Acceptance Center
4. Helps in collecting data and initiating proposals for modifications and improvements to maximize the operating efficiency of the department.
5. Assists in processing medical referral activities.
6. Facilitate communications coming from the Royal Cabinet, MOH, GMC, Office of the Chief Executive Director and facilitate replies.
7. Helps to plan, organize and schedules leaves evaluates employees of the department.
8. Helps in distributing the work load between employees and ensures adequate staffing, monitors employee coverage's during leave of absences.
9. Facilitates communications/letters received from the CEO Office.
10. Helps in the processing of medical referrals.
11. Participates in Self and Hospital quality improvement plans preferred.
12. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
13. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.Education
