The opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is wishing to explore a new area within HR, specifically within the project management area where you will obtain experience, exposure and knowledge across all areas of HR, leading critical transformative projects you will report directly to the HR Enablement Leader. You will be required to work across the HR Enablement function, with Talent Services and collaborate with other Talent functions to ensure consistency of user experience, client satisfaction, timeliness and responsiveness of service, quality of service, efficiency of delivery etc. As well as identifying continuous improvement areas, innovation opportunities and activities to automate.
Your key responsibilities
- Identification, design and delivery of cross functional initiatives and projects aimed at continuously improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Region Talent Team across processes, technology and operations, while strengthening the alignment of the Region to Area/ Global
- Develop strong networks with other projects and performance consultants to share good practice
- Design and implementation of business improvements
- Define change initiatives and designing change management interventions
- Implementation of change initiatives relating to function wide projects. Execute against communication plans, coaching and support for Organizational changes and deliver change agent activities. Evaluate effectiveness of change management activities
- Management of / alignment with global projects
- Tailoring of global initiatives, to make content useable
- Delivery of global initiatives
- Provide effective project management and ensure project delivery on time/budget and to the required standard
- Develop and implement methodologies to measure benefits realization over time after project completion
- Report on benefits achieved (soft and hard benefits) vs targets where required
- Cyclical review of all activities to ensure they are fit for purpose, smart and ensuring an exceptional experience
- Works on administrative and local regulatory requirements alongside providing expertise and advice to the business in ER, systems etc. – in conjunction with ER
- Manages full service provision of Core HR and Operations at a country level
- Act as an escalation point for Managed Services, supporting the MENA HR Ops Manager
- Partner with the business to provide HR expertise and insights in areas of focus
- Partner with IT Procurement to understand, select and implement the best tools for the Talent system (performance management, learning platform etc.)
- Manage SAP SF local testing/training/data validation and maintenance of system with system upgrades/updates, working with HR Systems and EY technology.
- Work with HR Operations Coordinator/Managed Services to maintain content in Talent Portal
- Manage integrations with local systems where required
- Manage relationship with HR Systems and provides support where required
- Produce, develop and monitor HR operational dashboards (KPIs & metrics) to measure performance and uncover areas of improvement, with our Global reporting team
- Work with HR Operations Coordinator/Managed Services to maintain content of GOLDIE
- Work with Functions on Policy updates and Talent uploads
- Design, implement and manage HR Audits
Skills and attributes for success
- Managing strong relationships with HR Consultants and other functions to ensure that their expectations are managed and met
- Pro-actively reviewing continuous improvement areas across Talent
- Pro-actively suggesting process improvements
- Project management experience and knowledge on methodologies
- Knowledge of HR systems, basic HR measurement and process improvement preferred
- Experience in metrics reporting and analysis preferred
- Experience with Shared Services would be an advantage
To qualify for the role you must have
- 4+ years experience of working in HR operations within a professional services firm or a complex organization
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related discipline
- Experience in working within MENA region
- Experience of working cross border
- Experience of working with Shared Services
- Experience leading large-scale projects
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communicator English, both written and verbal
- Ability to challenge
- Negotiation skills
- Highly competent in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ideally, you'll also have
- A passion to pursue your CIPD in the future or already have this qualification
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate process and procedures clearly
- An enthusiastic, can do approach and be a strong team player
