Summary
Essential Responsibilities and Duties

2. Performs imaging procedures utilizing magnetic resonance imaging scanners. Assists other
technologists.
3. Investigates possible, new procedures.
4. Assists in maintaining inventory of stock and non-stock supplies.
5. Ensures that equipment is properly maintained. Contacts supervisor for any repair needed.
6. Participates in departmental in-services and continuing education and CQI programs.
7. Assists with development, revision, and implementation of policies and procedures for the section,
department, and Hospital.
8. Comply with the section policies, procedures and protocols. Follow the section quality improvement
program in accordance with CBAHI, JCI, SFDA and other accreditation agencies standards.
9. Comply with the Radiation Safety Rules and Regulations of the Hospital in accordance with KACST and
K.A. CARE and other National or International Regulatory bodies.
10. Apply ALARA principle Role within the section practice for all procedures.Education
Bachelor's or Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or successful completion of specialized training at KFSH in Radiological Sciences/Technology is required.Experience Required
Four (4) years of related experience with Bachelor's or six (6) years for Associate Degree/Diploma is required.
Grade 10:
-Four (4) years as a Senior MRI Technologist at KFSH&RC, or (Grade 09) related experience is required.
-Average of annual performance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years.
-One-hundred (100) cumulative continued medical education [CME].Other Requirements(Certificates)
-Registration in the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists, the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists, or equivalent is required for non-Saudis.
