Digital Marketing and Communications Manager

The client is a government entity which aims to develop an economic zone incorporating smart city technology to function as a tourist destination. You will be working on one of the giga projects which is designed to respond to some of the most pressing global challenges facing urban areas and inspire an alternative way of living.
Job Description

  • Design and execute the digital brand marketing and communications strategy for the Authority
  • Build and manage central, one-stop service government channel for announcements, information and public surveys for ongoing public engagement and awareness
  • Manage communications programs and projects with internal and external resources
  • Develop and implement integrated, well-coordinated and well-executed digital marketing and communications campaigns and events
  • Design and oversee audience-specific brand marketing channels and campaigns, collaborating closely with department heads and senior management
  • Grow and sustain global brand reputation among all stakeholders through creative and innovative digital marketing and communications programs, campaigns, channels, and solutions
  • Plan and manage Authority Martech stacks, services, and solutions in collaboration with IT and digital government department
  • Design and manage the digital authority brand experience journey
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure collaboration, alignment, and keeping current on authority news and updates

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years relevant digital marketing and communications experience in global or/and Saudi government.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, information technology, or a closely related field
  • Proven track record of digital marketing and communications planning and execution in public sector / government entity including policy announcements, public consultations, digital public services, and center of government communications
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional integrated and digital marketing and communications campaigns on a significant international scale
  • Digital marketing, communications, and social media certifications are preferred
  • Government and public sector experience are preferred
  • Fluency in English and Arabic Languages
  • Experience of working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is preferable
