TheRole:
As Omrania's Proposal Manager reporting to the director of Estimates and commercial, you will lead and manage Omrania's entire design, supervision proposal life cycle, to include delegating tasks, editing and submitting the response, asses the risk and opportunity associated with each proposal, reach out to client to ensure all clients needs in RFP are meet and counted for in the proposal to maximize winning ratio.
- Develop proposal strategy that is aligned with Omrania's strategy.
- Manages all activates related to design and supervision proposals.
- Manages proposals method statements, estimates project delivery costs
- Manages the reparation of tender requirements, such as bid bonds, performance bonds, man power, etc.
Ensures that proposal process is managedwith efficiencyandeffectives.
- Develop proposal progress reportingtoexecutivemanagement.
- Manages the full life cycle of the proposal from initiate inquiry to dead closure and handover by tracking key date and proposal sub mission deadline.
- Collaborate with Business Development team (BD) to identify and develop growth opportunities (new Business, extension etc.) and strategically position and influence early stage with creative solutions and key initiative.
- Strategies RFPs based on likelihood of wining and value.
- Follow up with prospective client on proposal status.
- Manages the proposal process, proposal generation and deadline negotiation in cross – functional team including BD, project manager, risk, engineering, relevant intent process.
- Administer RFP software
- Conduct marketed competitor research.
Qualification & Skills:
- Must have an engineering degree.
- 10 + years in engineering firm, preferably with consulting firm
- Solid knowledge of commercial and technical proposal process
- Significant experience in gulf countries, Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Can work under pressure with producing multiple proposals with short deadlines.
- Must have an excellent Arabic and English commands
- Must have good presentation skills
- Must have risk assessment knowledge
