Qualifications
- University degree master's degree is a plus
- 15+ years of relevant experience including ideally experience in compensation, advanced analytics, HR/professional development
- Extensive experience driving complex projects to completion at professional services or in a similar environment
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- High level of maturity in particular as it relates to sensitive compensation information
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail coupled with the ability to see big-picture trends
- Ability to thrive under pressure and multi-task
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed
- Excellent communication and presence with senior leaders
Who You'll Work With
You will be based in one of our global office inEastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region as part of our regional people leadership team, working directly with the regional human resources leader and regional people leader and collaborating with cell leaders across the region (regional leaders, office managers, functional and industry cell leaders, client capability network leaders).
You will also work closely with market compensation leads (MCLs, responsible for local execution) in every market within Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and convene this group. You will collaborate with HR, professional development and recruiting leaders in the region to ensure compensation strategy is meeting needs and advancing our people mission of attracting and retaining the top talent. You will have extensive exposure to all service lines of the global compensation function.What You'll Do
You will lead initiatives across compensation strategy and execution in the region and beyond.
In this role, you will lead the implementation strategy across all paths: client service professionals, engagement service professionals and firm service professionals. You will work closely with cell leaders to ensure global compensation strategy is adapted to the region and each local market. You will serve as a critical thought partner to the global compensation function as global initiatives are designed and ultimately implemented.
You will convene the market compensation leads community in the region. You will provide oversight, guidance and coaching to office and practice market compensation leads as needed (acting as the primary point of contact on specific questions, exceptions and special situations). You will lead efforts to implement global compensation initiatives within the region including compensation for new and or redefining paths. You will partner with regional HR and people leaders (RPLs) as well as local stakeholders on both strategy and execution.
In addition to regional responsibilities, you will lead one or more global strategic initiatives per year (e.g., new paths, enhancing digitization) or other priorities as identified by the compensation policy committee. You will be relied upon to be a critical thought partner for our market compensation leads as they operationalize, which includes helping them problem solve local issues, individual tough cases as well as orchestrating the appropriate communications around compensation. You will drive strategic problem solving and initiatives for the region, bringing to bear knowledge and expertise that solves for local context and markets (e.g., high inflation) while balancing global philosophy/requirements.
You will have extensive cross functional exposure including, and not limited to the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region, across cell and people leaders, across the people function (e.g., HR, professional development, talent, recruiting) and as relevant with other functions (e.g. finance, legal, mobility, etc.).
