L3 Network Security Engineer

Leading MSSP based in Saudi Arabia
Your Responsibilities
- Daily triage, and update/resolution of tickets generated by ticketing system and respond to inbound Cover 24×7 operations and provide on-site coordination.
- Provide daily summary reports of network events and activity relevant to security systems.
- Incident Troubleshooting and Escalations.
- Incident Resolution and prepare Incident reports.
- Adhere to Change Management and Maintenance policy and process.
- Implement trusted changes approved by design like SCRs/WOs.
- Daily, Weekly and Monthly Operation and Performance Reports.
- Escalate support requests to next level engineers and communicate with Incident Management as appropriate.
- Escalate to vendors and follow up as needed to ensure problem resolution.
- Document planned and unplanned network events in appropriate tracking and turnover systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents/issues within SLA.
- Review, provide input, and sign off on defined policy and process standards.
- Examine technical problems and provide basic engineering and additional support in solving the problems.
- System administration and analytics for security related systems
- Ensure secure implementation and operation of critical security infrastructure
- Monitoring systems for security incidents or breaches, and reporting security gaps through audits of the network
- Review new platforms, designs, vendors, and services to ensure network and infrastructure security practices are implemented according to international standards
- Backup configuration of all assets (Automatically if applicable).
- Responsible for performing Audit on all assets (configuration, access,etc.).
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field
- Five or more years work experience as a Network Security Engineer or related position
- Proven experience developing, operating, and maintaining security systems
- Extensive knowledge of operating system and database security
- Proficiency in networking technologies, network security and network monitoring solutions
- Knowledge of: Adaptive mobile, palo Alto, forcepoint, F5, Mobileum, Forescout, Gigamon, Fortinet, Junipe
- Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Industry recognized security certification, such as CCNP Security,PCNSE,NSE4 are required, CCIE Security is preferred.
- Hands-on experience on RedHat Linux is desirable.
