We are looking for an outstanding candidate to be hired as a Senior Engineer – Highways based in Neom (GIGA PROJECT),,
Neom is Saudi Arabia's flagship business and tourism development on the Red Sea coast and a central project in the 2030 Vision outlining the kingdom's plans to diversify the economy
Job Summary
Being part of the management team responsible for reviewing and managing the design and construction of various major projects.
Being responsible for track alignment and track geometry for LRT, Transit, metro, and High-Speed rail transportation projects
Developing technical specifications for track systems together with the rail systems managers.
Ensuring that all design and implementation activities are performed with the highest safety and quality culture in mind and with the best industry practice
The role requires front-end engineering and design consulting skills.
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
In depth knowledge of the GCC working conditions, including client expectations, geotechnical conditions, standards and codes
Required Qualifications & Experiences:
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
Experience in team management / leadership roles.
15 years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge on large scale construction projects (RAILWAY, TUNNEL PROJECTS)
Required Gulf experience mandatory.
English proficiency required, Arabic is a plus
The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
