Like in most modern Universities around the world, one of Qatar University's strategic aims is to develop and enhance research that meets its standards of excellence. Our Office is responsible for providing administrative, secretarial, and executive support for all elements of the University's research activities. The Office also manages the University's internal research funding schemes, and all aspects (other than financial) of external grants and research agreements.
Duties & Responsibilities
o Establish an extramurally funded research program in areas of metabolic diseases using animal models ( rat, mouse)
o Establishes new research protocols and procedures in the laboratory.
o Perform in vivo studies to build research strength and training program in area of metabolic diseases research and techniques.
o Independently reviews the scientific literature, organizes, analyzes, and interprets research data.
o Summarizes research findings, publishes results in research journals (Q1), and presents work at national or international meetings.
o Establish a highly collaborative research environment with multiple research centers and Colleges to enhance LARC/QU research outcomes
o Communicates effectively with members of the team.
o Supervises and trains students (i.e. summer students, graduate students) and other junior research staff members.
o Teach 1-2 graduate courses in areas of expertise and supervise graduate students.
o Provide support for committees (LARC, VPRGS, QU) and community services.
o Maintain a high degree of ethical standard and trustworthiness
o Perform other tasks as necessary.

However, if no course work was completed, an copy of certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree). 6.Any additional documentation that you feel is relevant to your application.
