VP – Non Aeronautical Revenues

Company
Our client is a semi-governmental Aviation Company. The company has more than 600 employees in a vast number of divisions and departments. They are currently looking for a Vice President – Non Aeronautical Revenues to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Non-Aero Revenue income steams for company including, Property and Real estate, Retail Concessions, Car Parking, Car Rental, Advertising, Food and Beverage and all other revenue streams associated with the no aeronautical category
  • Mentor the team in managing revenue targets, creating forecasts and identifying risk to income
  • Responsible for all car parking including the day to day operation, staff management and revenues for the car parks. In addition, to manage the service roads, car rental parking, executive and staff car parks operation.
  • Improve the Commercial offering with limited time and resources.
  • Attract new entrants to test the market
  • Introduce revenue sharing contracts to allow transparency and sales reporting
  • Develop the current Property and Retail portfolio for the existing terminal to identify new income streams
  • Create a Commercial strategy for our car rental market, improve the standard of offer, improve the tenant relationships and create commercial agreement to improve their offer.
  • Create and implement Commercial Tendering strategy for the new AMP that optimise the revenue potential of the new Terminal
  • Develop new Policies and Procedures documents across property and leasing, Tenant Relationship management and Landside Commercial estates to improve the standard of the portfolio leading to improved revenue income.
  • Develop open and transparent Business Models and communication channels with all our Business Partners
  • Develop the Mentor-the-Manager Programme to ensure a structured Succession plan is in place.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years experience in Commercial, Property & Retail, Real estate or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Airport Concessions, Duty Free operations, F&B operations or a related industry.
  • Ability to work calmly and constructively under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communicator.
  • Multi-Tasking with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to take direction in a team environment while at the same time is confident to work as an individual.
  • Excellent organization and Negotiation skills.
  • Public speaking skills and comfortable with making presentations.
