Your Responsibilities
- The primary role of this position is to provide Linux system administration support. This includes: designing, installing and configuring Linux servers, storage arrays, communications networks and performing system integration, testing and operational support for physical, virtual and cloud environments.
- Will build systems consisting of Linux physical servers from the ground up, as well as design, build and manage virtual and cloud environments using VMware and AWS. Will also work with others in large networking environments.
- Automation using Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Chef, & Puppet.
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Linux
- Strong experience working and supporting mission-critical servers in production environments.
- Strong experience working on infrastructure projects such as data center build-outs, hardware and/or operating system conversions & migrations, etc..
- Significant experience building, configuring and maintaining physical servers.
- Strong experience building, configuring and maintaining virtual servers using VMware.
- Significant experience designing, building, configuring, and troubleshooting RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu Linux servers.
- Strong experience designing, migrating and administering cloud based solutions using AWS including Console and Command Line interface functions and commonly used AWS services and best practices.
- VMware certification
