Business Continuity Lead

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with all functional business areas to develop and maintain a BCM program that addresses business recovery and emergency response management.
  • Support and assist in the development of BCM program planning and goals
  • Conducts risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing the potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims, and market disruptions.
  • Develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems in natural disasters cybersecurity incidents.
  • Identifies and implements recovery operations and methods to allow organizations to function at limited or partial capacity part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.
  • Creates and facilitates practice drills for plan execution.
  • Develops and provides staff training on risk assessment and disaster recovery.
  • Facilitate and support the execution of the plans at the time of a crisis event

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, ICT, IS or similar programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Experience with security and risk frameworks
  • Experience working in preparing national critical infrastructure standards.
  • Working knowledge of international, national and industry specific cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
  • Strong knowledge and use of GRC platforms.
  • Hold Information Security, Governance and Risk Management recognized certification such as but not limited to ISO, 27001, ISO 22301, BS 11200:2014 in Crisis management, COBIT5, CRISC, CISSP, CISA, CISM and ITIL.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong ICT continuity management skills.
  • Strong problem management and analysis skills.
  • Willingness to gain new and advanced knowledge with self-learning capabilities.
  • Willingness to share knowledge/expertise and assist others supporting common goals and strategies.
  • Exhibit team building, team participation, and a growth mindset.
  • Strong ability in reporting and presenting to top management.
  • Strong project and time management skills supporting multiple tasks and projects of varying scope and scale.
