JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Sales Data Analyst

Role Summary:
The role of the Sales Data Analyst is to oversee sales and forecast numbers across MENA markets with the key objective of driving business growth via identifying gaps, opportunities, potential and optimizations. You will have the opportunity to directly contribute to achieving sales and growth goals by interpreting data, and making grounded recommendations to improve digital channel performance and consumer experience across digital touch points. This position requires extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, analysing cross-channel data, and creating advanced dashboards for senior management. The candidate needs to be able to deal with data ambiguity, accessing different systems and matching/attributing the right figures to the right definitions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics dashboards to ensure metric reporting consistency
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
- Managing, consolidating, analyzing and understanding the sales trends in MENA region and tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through dashboard visualizations
- Help to convert this business information into business intelligence that will drive revenue for the online business
- Identify, measure, and monitor key performance indicators, while making recommendations impacting sales performance
- Build clear visual sales dashboards with key highlights visualizing KPI trends, analysis, and recommendations for use in top management meetings
- Monitoring sales and forecast data of each local office, identify issues (upload error, data accuracy, etc) and escalate to management and global HQ in a timely manner to take appropriate action
- Build recommendations based on the analysis and monitoring of the collected data and KPIs
- Create reports and dashboards that provide correlations between web engagement and revenue, web engagement and marketing channels, etc.
- Analyze user engagement and sales conversions focused on categories, product pages, and checkout pages and identify key drivers to recommend growth opportunities
- Maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc reports that measure performance of e-commerce KPIs
- Work closely with various stakeholders to define the information needed and how best to present it
Essential skills and experience:
- The role requires excellent analytics and business acumen, good stakeholder management as well as technical skills and experience in data analysis and measurement.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar position
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g. ability to create macros and functions that can ease report creation) for report automation
- Ability to handle multiple demands efficiently, while being extremely organized and maintaining high attention to detail
- A self-starter and eager implementer who enjoys working both in groups and independently
- Must possess interpersonal skills in order to build strong positive people relationships.
- Must be able to take direction well and understand requirements, working within tight timelines
- Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively
- Comfortable interpreting sales and web traffic data and deriving actionable insights
Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure & language skills)
- Bachelor degree with min of 3 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within an e-commerce environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate the insight and initiatives
- Demonstrated strong proficiency at an advanced level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Bilingual preferred (English & Korean)
